Elevating the Stykka Brand Through a new website

In one of my most rewarding endeavors, I had the privilege to lead the creation of Stykka's first professional website. Working hand in hand with the talented team at Spring/Summer, we embarked on a journey to breathe digital life into the Stykka brand.

As an advocate for clean, meaningful design, I am profoundly proud of what we achieved - an award-winning website that echoes the essence of Stykka with every pixel.

Project Title: Stykka.com

Client/Company: Stykka, in collaboration with Spring/Summer, CG Ateliers & Spejlvendt

Date: Jan 2021

Objective: The goal was to take Stykka's online presence to the next level by creating their first professional website. We aimed to showcase the brand's identity and products in a way that would both resonate with their target audience and stand out in the highly competitive e-commerce space.

My Role: As the Project Manager, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the overall project, ensuring that the website was designed, developed, and launched on schedule. Besides project management, I also took on the responsibilities of art direction, and content creation, ensuring that the site not only looked outstanding, but also told the Stykka story effectively.

Approach/Strategy: Working alongside Spring/Summer agency, we decided to create a unique, immersive, and intuitive website experience that would not only showcase Stykka’s products but also tell the brand's story. We focused on creating high-quality content that would both inform and engage users.

Process: We kicked off the project with a deep dive into Stykka's brand values and target audience. Next, I worked closely with the agency to translate these insights into a visual and narrative language that would form the basis of the website design. Through continuous iteration and improvement, we gradually brought this vision to life.

Outcome/Results: The website took Stykka’s brand to a new level and won several awards, including an Awwwards and two Creative Circle awards, one for Best Design and one for Best E-commerce. This recognition was a testament to the hard work of the entire team and the quality of the end product.

Reflection/Lessons Learned: This project was a powerful reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of meticulous planning and project management. Looking back, the success of the project was due to the clarity of our vision and the dedication of everyone involved
